South Pier, Central Pier and North Pier are FREE entry attractions. Whilst there are opportunities to spend money on the rides, café´s, bars and ice cream kiosks, they also offer some lovely views and are often a welcome break from sunbathing on the beach. Please note that in 2012 North Pier became FREE to visit and includes the Sun Lounge and bar with childrens entertainment during the summer season.
Both North and Central piers have theatres. The North Pier is ‘Grade 2’ listed has the historic Joe Longthorne theatre. This theatre replaced the Indian Pavilion which was first built in 1874. The theatre at Central pier is a showbar. Most years there is an amazing tribute act show on most evenings. Acts change weekly typical acts are musical legends Elvis Presley, Michael Jackson, Whitney Houston and George Michael! 4 acts per night.
